Engravia Customs LLC — Jewelry Care

1. General Care

To keep your Engravia Customs jewelry looking its best:

  • Remove your jewelry before washing your hands, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or applying any kind of personal-body product (lotions, perfume, makeup, hair products).

  • Avoid contact with soap, lotion, perfume, makeup, hairspray, cleaning solutions, or other chemicals.

  • When not being worn, store your jewelry in a safe, dry place — ideally in a jewelry pouch or a lined box — to protect it from scratches, moisture, and tarnish.

2. Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

Sterling silver jewelry is a beautiful but relatively delicate material and benefits from gentle handling and proper care:

  • Remove your sterling silver pieces before washing your body, swimming, exercising, or cleaning.

  • Avoid contact with soap, lotion, perfume, makeup, hair products, and cleaning products.

  • Stones (if any) are fragile and can break, crack, or scratch if not handled with care — avoid subjecting them to extreme impact or heat.

  • To maintain shine, clean the piece regularly with a soft polishing cloth — rub gently in one direction. DO NOT use tissue paper or paper towels, which can cause scratching.

  • When not worn, store in a safe, dry place (pouch or lined box).

  • A silver-cleaner may be used on pure sterling silver pieces — however, do not use on any gold-vermeil or rose-gold plated pieces unless specified.

  • Even though your piece may have an anti-tarnish treatment, it may still wear over time if not properly cared for.

3. Fine Jewelry Care

For Engravia Customs’ fine jewelry (e.g., 14K/18K gold, vermeil, gold filled, genuine gemstones):
Storage:

  • Store your fine jewelry in a dry place when not in use, such as in its original pouch or lined box.
    Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Gently wash with mild soap, rinse well, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

  • Avoid jewelry dips or polishes unless explicitly recommended — many contain harsh abrasives.

  • Avoid exposing your fine jewelry to perfumes, lotions, makeup, hair products, harsh chemicals (especially chlorine in pools, salt water), extreme heat or impact.

  • Remove fine jewelry before swimming, exercising, or any high-impact activity.

  • For gold and white diamond pieces: though designed for everyday wear, we still recommend removing the piece before high-risk activity and cleaning immediately after exposure to chlorine or salt water to maintain shine and integrity.

4. Repair Policy

At Engravia Customs LLC, we stand behind the craftsmanship of our fine jewelry. Our repair policy is as follows:

  • If within one month of original purchase a piece fails during normal wear because of a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair it at no cost using like-quality materials.

  • Engravia Customs LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged jewelry after delivery has been accepted by the customer.

Additional Notes

  • This policy applies only to jewelry purchased directly from Engravia Customs LLC or from an authorized retailer of Engravia Customs.

  • This policy does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents (dropping, impact), unauthorized repair/alteration, loss, theft, or normal wear & tear (for example, minor scratches, surface wear, or changes in plating color over time).

  • For plated or vermeil pieces, note that plating may wear or fade over time depending on exposure to moisture, chemicals, friction, or improper care.
